Westland Foundation Education Fund Scholarships are available toward first-year tuition fees at Red River College, the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg.
Who is eligible
Graduates from inner-Winnipeg high schools, who are registering at Red River College, the University of Manitoba, and the University of Winnipeg, are eligible to apply.
How it works
For Red River College, 70% and higher Grades 7 through 12 marks received from eligible inner-Winnipeg schools are counted toward a Westland Foundation scholarship. For the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg, 80% and higher marks are counted toward a scholarship. For the University of Manitoba, students have to be registered in 24 credit hours to avail of the scholarship.
The scholarship is available to students for up to 30 months from the date of their Grade 12 graduation.
How to Apply
Students are required to complete the Westland Foundation Education Fund Scholarship application form.
Students should obtain their official school transcripts from Grades 7 to 12.
Completed application form should be submitted, along with a copy of the transcripts from Grades 7 to 12, to respective universities/college on or before the deadline.
