Westland Foundation Education Fund Scholarships are available toward first-year tuition fees at Red River College, the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg.
Who is eligible
Graduates from inner-Winnipeg high schools, who are registering at Red River College, the University of Manitoba, and the University of Winnipeg, are eligible to apply.
How it works
For Red River College, every A or B (70%+) mark earned at the end of each year from Grades 7 through 12, in eligible inner-Winnipeg schools, becomes a credit toward a Westland Foundation scholarship. For the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg, 80% and higher marks are credited.
The scholarship is available to students for up to 30 months from the date of their Grade 12 graduation.
How to Apply
Students are required to:
- Complete a Westland Foundation Scholarship application form ONLINE.
- Upload official school transcripts from Grades 7 through 12 as a single file attachment to the application form.
- Submit their application on or before the submission deadlines for each of the schools. (We will post the dates on our website in the spring)
