Westland Foundation Education Fund Scholarships are available toward first-year tuition fees at Red River College, the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg.
Who is eligible
Graduates from inner-Winnipeg high schools, who are registering at Red River College, the University of Manitoba, and the University of Winnipeg, are eligible to apply.
How it works
For Red River College, every A or B (70%+) mark earned at the end of each year from Grades 7 through 12, in eligible inner-Winnipeg schools, becomes a credit toward a Westland Foundation scholarship. For the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg, 80% and higher marks are credited.
The scholarship is available to students for up to 30 months from the date of their Grade 12 graduation.
How to Apply
Students are required to complete a Westland Foundation Scholarship application form.
Students must obtain their official school transcripts from Grades 7 through 12.
Completed application forms should be submitted, along with a copy of the transcripts from Grades 7 – 12, to respective universities/college on or before their deadlines. Each of the school identifies its submission deadline annually. Please refer to the instructions on each application form.
