Scholarship Awards

Westland Foundation Education Fund Scholarships are available toward first year tuition fees at Red River College. In the future, scholarships also will be available at the University of Manitoba and University of Winnipeg.

The value of a scholarship is based on the "A" grades that a student receives at the end of each year in Grades 7 through 12 (S4), in Inner Winnipeg schools.

Who is eligible

Graduates from Inner Winnipeg High Schools, who are registering at Red River College, are eligible to apply.

How it works

Each 'A' grade that a student receives, at the end of each school year in Grades 7 through 12 (S4), in Inner Winnipeg schools, becomes a credit accrued toward a Westland Foundation scholarship.

The scholarship is available to students for up to 30 months from the date of their Grade 12 graduation.

How to Apply

Students are required to complete a Westland Foundation Scholarship application form.

The application form is available from this webpage, see subsection Apply At RRC, or can be picked up at the Student Services Centre, Red River College, after July 1.

Students must obtain their official school transcripts, including grades 7 through 12 (S4).

The completed scholarship application form, along with school transcripts, are taken to the Student Services Centre at Red River College, after July 1, for processing.
