Fundraising Events
Each year, our annual Pro-Am Golf Tournament is held at John Blumberg Golf Course. It currently nets about $14,000 toward the Westland Foundation Education Fund.
We invite you to join one of the four-member teams in 2010. Each team includes a golfing professional along with 3 amateurs.
During the tournament there are many opportunities to win prizes and there is a buffet dinner, where winners are announced, following the afternoon of golf.
In May of each year, we invite you to a community CARNIVAL at the Old Exhibition Grounds off McPhillips Street. It's a fun-filled day of carnival rides and food for the entire family, organized by community volunteers. From the proceeds of the Carnival, the volunteer organizers generously contribute about $3,400 each year to the Education Fund in support of Inner Winnipeg youth.
