The 14th Annual Westland Foundation Pro Am was held June 29, 2009, at John Blumberg Golf Course.
The Westland Foundation Pro Am normally is held on the Friday of the May long weekend. However, Mother Nature threw a slice into the tournament and we had to reschedule it to June 29th, which turned out to be one of the rare nice days of this summer.
The event netted the Westland Education Fund a fabulous $15,645.00, thanks to the generosity of the sponsors and volunteers.
The top amateur team was comprised of Adrian Chow, Ashmead Khan, Ryan Secord and Golf Pro Dave Klowak.
The top professional golfers, who were vying for prizes worth $5,000.00, were:
- 1st Prize - Rob McMillan 66
- 2nd Prize - Ben Smirnov 67
- 3rd Prize
- Andrew Steep 68
- Brian Dagg 68
- Steve Witiuk 68
- 4th Prize - John Bowen 70
